Founder of San Diego Hawks Baseball, the largest travel ball organization in San Diego; also founded The Nest Baseball Academy and San Diego Baseball Alliance.
15+ years of experience including Little League, All Stars, and high school baseball; led the 4SRLL 10U team to District 31 and Section 6 titles in 2016.
Active adult league player and pitcher; helped run the SDABL for over a decade and continues to play competitively in the NABA World Series.
4 years of high school coaching experience at Del Norte High School and current manager of the Freshman team.

Coach Mark has a lifetime of baseball experience as a player and coach.
Between youth baseball, high school baseball, and adult baseball, he has over 30 years of playing experience. His primary positions have always been pitcher and catcher, but has played all over the field through the years.
As a dad, he started coaching youth baseball 15 years ago and was immediately drawn to the impact he could have on young players through teaching them the game he loves.
He has endless years of coaching experience in Little League / All Stars, high school baseball, and with travel ball teams.
Coach Mark was drawn to the idea that the world of travel baseball needed to do more on behalf of players and families, and do it in an innovative, positive way. In 2016, he took the leap and resigned from his job as a tech entrepreneur --- starting the San Diego Hawks --- which is now the largest travel ball organization in San Diego.
Mark has also started / launched other baseball services to support the larger San Diego Baseball community : San Diego Baseball Alliance (2019), The Nest Baseball Academy (2022) and is a Tournament Director for NCS San Diego.
