Served as the Head Varsity Pitching Coach at Roosevelt High School in Fresno, leading the program to its first playoff berth in over 20 years, a CIF semifinal appearance, the league’s top pitching staff, and a Pitcher of the Year award.

Coach Jake is a former Division I pitcher from Long Beach State, one of the most respected baseball programs on the West Coast and home to a long line of professional and MLB-caliber talent. A member of the Class of 2024, he competed at the highest collegiate level, gaining firsthand experience with the training standards, competitive intensity, and mental toughness required to succeed in Division I baseball.
During his time at Long Beach State, Coach Jake developed a deep understanding of pitching mechanics, arm care, velocity development, and game strategy. Working within a program known for producing elite pitchers, he refined his craft under top-tier coaching and alongside high-level teammates, strengthening both his technical expertise and his ability to mentor aspiring arms.
Now stepping into a coaching role, Coach Jake brings a calm, detail-oriented approach to helping pitchers build consistency, confidence, and competitive edge on the mound. He emphasizes efficient movement patterns, repeatable mechanics, and arm health—ensuring young athletes learn how to throw harder, smarter, and safer. His personal experience navigating the demands of Division I baseball allows him to guide players not only physically, but mentally, teaching them how to prepare, adjust, and compete at their best.
